Dr Maria Valadez

I grew up in Spain and completed my medical training in the United Kingdom before moving to New Zealand, where I have been practicing as a GP for over 20 years. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice and value the long-term relationships I build with patients and families across all stages of life.

I am a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and the New Zealand Society of Travel Medicine.I have a special interest and have undergone extensive training in Travel Medicine and Menopause Health. To ensure these areas are managed thoroughly, I offer extended consultations as the best approach to address the complexity and individual needs involved. 

Outside work, I love books, cooking and travelling, especially when I can combine all three.
